Our client is a forward thinking Top 60 practice located conveniently in the City working with a wide portfolio of clients in several industries.

The Role
The purpose and remit of the Audit Semi-Senior are:
  • Work within a team on audit assignments
  • Gaining a deeper understanding of auditing standards and procedures
  • Participate and run smaller audit assignments independently
  • Preparing statutory accounts
  • Management accounts preparation
  • VAT Returns
  • Drafting financial statements in compliance with company standards
  • Mentoring Juniors on the Auditing process
  • Drafting reports covering financial statements, client business issues, systems and controls
  • To work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Perform other related duties as required.

The Candidate
  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA
  • Sound experience in audit file preparation
  • Strong double entry accounting knowledge and basic bookkeeping skills
  • Must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • To be able to communicate and work effectively with Clients, Managers, Partners and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proven experience of preparing statutory accounts and management accounts
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • It is desirable that the candidate has previous knowledge of Caseware, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero.
